Daniel Botchway, a renowned Ghanaian artist is inspired and fascinated by market scenes and other archetypal landscapes that portray the dynamism and versatility in the Ghanaian traditional mode of living. His work transcends ethnic or national boundaries and speaks to the universal human experience through art. 

 

His commitment to pushing the boundaries of artistic expression had led him to explore and master various techniques such as mixed media, collage, abstract and landscape paintings which showcases his diverse range of styles and inspirations. Employing the use of recycled materials such as fabrics, cardboards, sawdust, among others to explore the intricate tapestry of human emotions and experience.

 

Daniel believes that, folklore irrespective of its origin must be told undiluted since every story has a root in the human experience and no “history” has been made without the human experience or at least without the human perspective.

 

He has worked tirelessly to develop and materialize his talents which captivates and connects hearts across borders.
