ARTISTNii Kwartei Quartey

NII Kwartei Quartey is a multidisciplinary artist and architect/interior designer by profession. A student of visual arts but a self-taught digital artist. His work places a spotlight on Ghanaian heritage through historical figures and the built environment. The interplay between historical figures and the infrastructure that they leave behind is an important narrative in Nii’s work. He is currently developing a comic book series which will see the continuous evolution of his practice.
