Nkyinkyim Museum Tour

Nestled in the shady trees of Nuhalenya, Ada on the outskirts of the Greater Accra region sits the emerging powerhouse of a Museum, the Nkyinkyim Museum. Nkyinkyim inspired by the adinkra symbol of the same name symbolizes dynamism, versatility, and adaptability amidst the ebbs and flows of life’s journey.

Born out of the dream of one man; the prolific artist Kwame Akoto Bamfo. About 10 years ago he returned to his ancestral home to reclaim 150 acres of ancestral land to establish a home for his artistic practice and a futuristic museum that is steeped in historical and cultural narratives.

This tour in itself is a therapeutic art retreat suitable for adults, children and people of all backgrounds.
