Nsuo ne nsa Exhibition

Nsuo ne nsa aims to educate people about Ghana without fabricating the truth, to connect the Diaspora to local Ghanaians and uplift the Ghanaian community. Nsuo ne nsa enables artists to speak their truth and express this through their art which we can all much more easily relate to.

Nsuo ne nsa translation : Water & Wine – During the child’s naming ceremony, the elder drops water first then dips their finger into alcohol and places the finger on the child’s tongue to symbolically help them understand that water represents good and alcohol represents evil and this helps the child process and understand the difference between the truth and a lie; as both alcohol and water are considered to be pure in consistency.
